These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by The Sasquatch Camera ("we," "us," or "our") and the purchase of any products through our website. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase our products.

We design and sell handcrafted panoramic film cameras. Our cameras:

Contain no electronic components and no batteries.
Are sold without a lens, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page.

Each camera is assembled largely by hand. As a result, minor cosmetic variations may occur between units.

3. Handcrafted Nature & Cosmetic Variations

Due to the handmade manufacturing process and materials used:

3D Printed Components: Our products utilize high-quality 3D printing technology. Customers acknowledge that 3D printed parts naturally exhibit visible layer lines, small surface irregularities, or slight textural variations. These are inherent characteristics of the 3D printing process and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Stainless Steel: Components made from 304 stainless steel may show natural variations in grain, pattern, or finish and may differ from photographs shown on the website.
General: Minor scratches or cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the mechanical functionality of the camera are considered normal and are not grounds for return or warranty claims.

4. California Proposition 65 Warning

5. Orders & Acceptance

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, errors in pricing or product information, or limitations in production capacity.

Once an order is accepted, you will receive an order confirmation email.

6. Pricing & Taxes

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include shipping, taxes, customs duties, or import fees unless explicitly noted.

Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and fees associated with their purchase.

7. Shipping & Risk of Loss

Shipping timelines provided on the website are estimates only. Because our products are made and assembled largely by hand, delays may occur.

Risk of loss and title for the products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. While we are not liable for carrier delays or errors, we will reasonably assist customers in filing claims with the carrier for loss or damage during transit.

8. Returns & Refund Policy

We accept returns under the following conditions:

Standard Products: Return requests must be initiated within 14 days of delivery. The product must be in original, unused condition with all packaging included.
Custom & Personalized Orders: Any products that are custom-made, personalized, or modified to customer specifications are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Refunds: Refunds (excluding original shipping fees) will be issued only after inspection. We reserve the right to refuse or provide a partial refund if the product does not meet return conditions.

9. Limited Warranty

We provide a limited 30-day warranty from the date of delivery covering manufacturing defects in 3D printed components.

What is covered: Failure of a 3D printed part due to a defect in materials or manufacturing.
What is NOT covered: Normal wear and tear, accidental damage (e.g., dropping the camera), misuse, unauthorized modifications, exposure to extreme temperatures, or cosmetic imperfections.
Shipping: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs to and from our facility for warranty repairs.

10. Lens Use and Compatibility

The Sasquatch Camera is sold without lenses. Use of any lens is at the customer’s own risk. We are not responsible for any damage, malfunctions, or poor image quality resulting from the use of incompatible, modified, or defective second-hand lenses.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

Except for the limited warranty in Section 9, all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sasquatch Camera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, designs, logos, and product designs, is the property of The Sasquatch Camera and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Arbitration: Any dispute arising from these Terms or the sale of products that cannot be resolved through negotiation shall be settled by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, rather than in court.
International Orders: Customers are responsible for compliance with their local laws and import regulations.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the website or purchase of products after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
